Josh Clendenin is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Josh’s goal is to create a safe environment from an anatomical perspective to protect the physical body from injury and with the implementation of trauma informed practice to help support the emotional body.
Through this intention Josh is able to make his yoga classes accessible to all bodies. His yoga background is in Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow styles but his teacher training was focused in Iyengar inspired yoga, which seeks to bring the yoga pose to where you are and not make you fit the pose.
Josh works to bring joy and acceptance into his teaching and the easiest way to do this is through laughter. Laugher relaxes the body, works the core muscles, and calms the mind so you can dive deeper into your inner practice. He also seeks to find ways to incorporate not only yogic spiritual ideas, but those of other faiths and non faiths a like. All is welcome in his classes.
